Supplies & Equipment
Dawn Powerwash & Industrial Degreaser Bottles
Please do not throw away Dawn Powerwash bottles, spray heads, or Dawn Industrial Degreaser bottles.
These are refillable and reusable.
- Dawn Powerwash bottles can be refilled using replacement refills.
- Dawn Industrial Degreaser bottles can be refilled from larger refill containers.
- Spray heads should be saved unless they are broken.
Replacing bottles and spray heads unnecessarily creates additional expenses that can easily be avoided.
Cleaning Rags
Dirty rags should be washed as soon as possible after use.
Please do not leave used rags sitting in your vehicle for multiple days. When rags sit in a hot car or trunk, they quickly become mildewed, develop odors, and often need to be thrown away.
After each job, rags should either:
- Be washed at home, or
- Be brought to HQ for laundering
Taking care of our cleaning cloths helps reduce waste and keeps our supplies in good condition.
Supply Usage
Please be mindful of the amount of product being used.
Cleaning supplies are expensive, and using excessive amounts does not necessarily create better results.
Use what is needed to do an excellent job, but avoid unnecessary waste. Treat company supplies with the same respect you would treat your own.
Vacuum Care & Maintenance
Our vacuums should always be clean and maintained.
Please do not bring a dirty vacuum into a client’s home.
Before entering a property, make sure:
- The dust canister has been emptied.
- Filters are reasonably clean.
- The brush roll is free of excessive hair, string, and debris.
- The vacuum hose is free of clogs.
- The exterior of the vacuum is wiped down and presentable.
A clean vacuum performs better, lasts longer, and reflects our professionalism.
The equipment we bring into a client’s home should be as clean as the home we are leaving behind.
Please remember that a vacuum full of dirt, dust, pet hair, and debris should never be brought from one client’s home directly into another without being emptied and checked first.
Taking a few extra minutes to maintain our equipment helps us provide better service and protects the investment Sweet Breeze has made in our tools.
Communication & Time Tracking
Clear communication is required for every job.
Arrival Message
Send a message when you arrive at the property.
Departure Message
Send a message when you leave the property.
Hours Reporting
After the job is complete, send your total hours worked.
Cleaning Standards
We are not a company that does the bare minimum.
We are known for being thorough, detailed, and attentive.
Every Surface Matters
Unless specifically instructed otherwise:
- Dust all accessible surfaces.
- Wipe all surfaces.
- Check corners, edges, and overlooked areas.
- Pay attention to details that others may miss.
Our goal is to leave a property noticeably cleaner than expected.
Complete the Job Fully
Do not rush through a property simply to finish.
Take the time to make sure the work is complete.
Before leaving, ask yourself:
- Is everything clean?
- Is anything being overlooked?
- Would I be happy if this were my own home?
We strive to exceed expectations, not simply meet them.
Airbnb Standards
Airbnb properties require special attention and detailed documentation.
Damage Documentation
If you notice something broken, damaged, missing, stained, or not functioning correctly:
- Take clear photos immediately.
- Document the issue thoroughly.
- Report it as soon as possible.
Good documentation protects both Sweet Breeze and the property owner.
Detailed Airbnb Cleaning
Every Airbnb clean should include attention to details that are often overlooked.
Check for:
- Dust buildup
- Dirt accumulation
- Mold or mildew
- Appliance cleanliness
- High-touch surfaces
- Washer and dryer cleanliness
Washers and dryers should not have visible dirt, buildup, mold, or excessive lint.
We recently purchased a vacuum attachment specifically designed for cleaning inside dryer vents. When appropriate, use this attachment to remove lint buildup. This is one of the many extra services that help set Sweet Breeze apart from other cleaning companies.
Property Maintenance Awareness
Please pay attention to maintenance concerns while cleaning.
This includes:
- Broken items
- Safety hazards
- Yard maintenance concerns
- Damaged furniture
- Missing items
- Appliances that are not working properly
If you notice something, document it and report it.
Property owners appreciate proactive communication.
If something is broken, damaged by a guest, missing, or not functioning properly, we need clear photos and detailed notes. Good documentation helps owners make claims, schedule repairs, and maintain their properties.
